I am tough on my broker because I paid him over 2500 bucks in commissions last quarter. I am tough on Schwab for other reasons, like web support, approvals for certain kinds of trading, and just plain having the attitude that they can do whatever they want.

I am getting ready to move and today I gave them 24 hours to fix something in my account or prepare a check for me. The local branch manager called back and promised to look into it. Schwab cost me over 12k in profits on three trade screwups when you could not get a trade through on the web or by phone, but if you read the fine print they are not responsible for not having the ability to handle spikes in volume.

I appreciate your comments and respect where you are coming from. I really don't expect to get rumors and tips from them, just basic service that is fast and reliable.
