>>I am looking for a few new non-Internut trading stocks. Ideally, the stocks are priced $25 or less, have fair spreads (is there such a thing), daily volume of at least a couple hundred K, and fairly wide intraday swings. If you feel like sharing, pipe in with your personal favorites. <<

PSFT, ADPT, TDFX, NVDA, SYMC all except the first one would put most warchiefs to sleep before noon.

Slower, trending stocks

I put a current list of my recommended positions at
home.earthlink.net with the gain and position based on the trading strategy (for the period 1/2/98 - today)

As an example, I put the chart for HAL on the website at:
home.earthlink.net

Tred lines are short postions and the blue lines are when you would be long. The green line below is the % gain one would have had they gone long and short as the model shows.

Minos,

Go to my website mljones.com and use the link to "Daily Stocks Research" (center column) and look under "stock screens". Choose "quick pre-screened" and go to the bottom of the page and try "high beta" under $15. That should give you a good sized list. Let me know what you think. MLJ
