It's really amazing how slow it is at 3p.m. I think everyone is checking the stock market or something.

Judging by today's market, everyone was putting in a sell order at 3 :-) That was one nasty sell program that kicked in. I suspect it is the hedge funds that caused today's dive, not even the day traders could have done that. AOL fared pretty well under the circumstances.

OT: I've never noticed a slowdown at any time of day or night. However, I don't get the full 256K speed from my connection at any time. They're blaming it on the ancient wiring in the building where I live. I get it from USWest and also use their ISP service. (Here in Washington, USWest and GTE are required to let other ISPs connect and offer DSL service.)
