Security is a real issue. Just because it can get controversial doesn't mean that Intel should shy away from it. And just because Intel's first foray into the security thing isn't going so well doesn't mean that Intel should just give up.

If Intel were to shy away from progress and (dare I say it) innovation just because of the fear of controversy, I think Intel will be left behind and INTC will no longer be such an attractive stock to hold.
