Imagine if someone figures a way to hack into it even if the feature has been turned off. THAT will be a complete fiasco for Intel. However, even with the hacking ability now, I don't think Intel is going to take any steps towards recalling the chips already out there. They will probably create some sort of software patch, which will probably be broken within a month of its arrival. The cycle will never end.
