"consider all those that want him out of office to be religious zealots and/or political extremists."; Much of the Republican Party has in fact turned extremist and that is what is turning off large numbers of people. If they aren't religious zealots; they generally are political extremists; that is why the Republican's have been losing seats ever since getting in control. I enjoyed watching the head of the RNC threatening retribution against any Republican's that attack other Republican's. Many hardliners want to punish those 10 Senators that sided with Dem's on the impeachment vote. Also the RR is ready to attack and destroy any Republican's that don't support their narrow and extreme desires. The Republican's are in deep trouble within their own ranks.
