Bought 1500 at 13 7/8. I'm planning to hold some and trade some if rallies. Will probably bail if it gets below 13.

Ztrade - VLSI

Sold 5000 shares at 16 1/4 from 12 5/8 and 10 1/8. I don't trust Stein and it's obvious from the reaction in the stock so far, that many other investors don't either. He might can this deal just like he did with the LSI deal at 28 last summer. What an ass he is. Oops, sorry for using this thread to make a policital statement lol.

VLSI.

Bought 4000 shares back at 15 3/16. Stop at about 14 5/8 (will post if stopped out). If it breaks 15, then I have to believe that VLSI is going to reject the offer from Philips. If that happens, I think the stock has a lot of downside. It could easily fall back to 11 or 12. For now, the risk/reward looks good...target 17 if the bid goes through or more if another bidder steps up. Only risking about 1/2 point.
