This doesn't "prevent" institutions from doing anything.

Negative....

Institutions would only take a relatively small and speculative position in the stock due to lack of liquidity. Smaller float generally equates to thinner trading as is revealed by the average volume for ICUB.

No liquidity, no ability to sell your position without drastically affecting the market in the stock.

What TAVA's management seems to lack is a concerted focus on attracting institutions to its stock. Maybe some stayed away after past disappointments. But they will come back since even they realize the company is wildly undervalued when compared to revenue and earnings growth.

As for TAVA losing 13% today, that is a 50% retracement from the 25% gain it made yesterday. It was a little sharp, but entirely in line technically.
