I don't make forecasts, but I wouldn't loan my money at the rates prevailing. I want protection from the two-faced FED. While one set of FED representatives is jawboning and talking tough, talking down the inflation that is coming, the FED is out doing coupon passes. While AG claims the FED doesn't protect the stock market, they are desperately trying to do that because AG has also stated that a falling market is like interest rate increases on final demand. Either the board is disconnected with the NY Fed, or there's a lot of gasoline being prepared to put out the kindling fire.
