Company Press Release

Origin to Partner with webPLAN

Origin Partnership Puts webPLAN in 31 Countries

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 24, 1999--webPLAN Corp. today announced a strategic partnership agreement with Origin International, a $1.9 billion USD (1998 sales) global information technology services company.

As a result of the agreement, Origin will offer webPLAN's Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) and Supply Chain Planning (SCP) software to manufacturers in 31 countries, around the world.

''This partnership will provide a strategic benefit to both companies,'' said Michael G. Ker, President and CEO, webPLAN Corp. ''Origin customers require an easy to use, quick to install APS and SCP solution for their existing ERP systems. webPLAN provides that. Our success with QAD, Baan, SAP, and even homegrown ERP environments will significantly expand Origin's footprint, particularly in the mid-market.''

''The webPLAN suite is a planning and scheduling solution with the functionality required by customers who need agility, flexibility in planning, and the fast return on investment demanded by mid-market companies looking to expand. For Origin, that means immediate sales opportunities with new and existing customers,'' said Sjaak den Breejen, Director Origin QAD Competence Division.

In 1994, webPLAN Corp. envisioned that the Internet would become the network backbone for real-time collaborative planning and scheduling -- a live connection between everyone in the plant and the Supply Chain. The webPLAN suite of products was designed to implement that vision, thus optimizing supply and demand over the web. The result:

-- optimized factory performance
-- increased profitability
-- increased customer service
-- better decisions

webPLAN Corp. is a privately held company with corporate offices in Chicago, Illinois and Ottawa, Canada. It develops web-based APS and SCP software for mid-size manufacturers, with vertical market focus on Aerospace, Electronics and Industrial Equipment. 08:37 p.m Feb 22, 1999 Eastern

IRVING, Texas, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- i2 Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ITWO) today
announced their decision not to proceed with the previously announced intention to offer up to
$200 million in convertible subordinated debt, due to the recent softness in equity markets
impacting the conversion price of the offering.

"We did not need the cash immediately so we felt no pressure to consummate the offering," said
Sanjiv Sidhu, CEO of i2 Technologies. "The offering was oversubscribed but technology stocks
weakened after we announced it. We therefore felt it was best not to execute the offering at this
time. We remain committed to our strategy of market leadership and growth."
