A couple of howlers from CBS Market Watch on the Robbers & Stealers tout-fest. The interview format of the first article has the same tough questioning and air of authenticity of one of those "Building Wealth with Roger Ripoff" real-estate infomercials:

"[CBS]: Let's there's a middle-aged investor with an extra $1,000 he's willing to put at risk. What sector, or group of companies, would you put that money in right now?:"

"[R&S tout]: I'd probably continue to go with either one of the Internet, network security, or electronic services companies that are still in the early stage and have huge opportunities..."

They're going for the last dollars under the mattresses, folks!

And here we have the deification of our old pal Dan "In Denial" Niles: "It started with a tremendous call on Dell Computer..."

Sure was a whole lot of nothing in the chip stocks during the 2:00-to-close recovery in the NASDAQ, DJII and S&P, huh.
