I'm not a lawyer(an M.B.A. though, but they're a dime a dozen).
I was taught in Business Law 101(many years ago) that battery
was physical(touching) violence, while assault was verbal abuse.

I don't want to sound like some paranoid nut, but I suspect
that Clinton has done a lot worse than commit sexual misdeeds
or even rape or perjury. To me it seems that too many people
close to his campaign financing operation and too many people
with knowledge of other financial and sexual misdeeds have wound up with bullets
in their heads. Some have been attributed to suicide, others
to people literally jumping out of windows- a bullet to the
brain is the preferred method.
