Hi,

The only time I crash with any software in recent months in when I am on the net and pushing the computer to hard, ie to many things going on.

I have noticed after using TF+ that I must reboot to go on the internet.

133mhz, 96meg, all goodies I can find. msoffice 2k, IE5 (release verison came with office 2k.)

Have any of you looked at your Video driver and the last update?

Mike

Yeesh Bob....I've got the Office 2000 beta AND IE5! (looking through the Yellow Pages for a conveniently located leper colony)

Unfortunately, I haven't had a version of TF8 that didn't crash. I had the first release and (I think) every one thereafter. I guess I'm going to take the SP4 plunge and see what happens. (Don't get me wrong.....I LOVE the TF8 functionality.....I just seem to be one of the few n'er do wells that can't get rid of the gremlins.)

BTW, I was trying to backtest intraday 5min bar data into a phony symbol name, and didn't want to put it in a regular Metastock folder, so I directed it a separate directory not in my preferences list. Well, TF8 seemed to do the test, but then couldn't find the chart to mark. Is that normal, or do I have to include all folders in Preferences, even if I name it in the test ?

Yours in delirium,

Dick
