Something I put together at Stockhouse. FYI. It's new to all of us but nice to see. I can speculate as to what's included in the package, growth prices etc, but its only a guess. Base Package Server System Software - Dr Bean LAN Connectivity software Maintenance software LAN Card - Ethernet I/O port - Terminal I/O port - Modem (remote access) Terminal and keyboard License for 5 users Options 17" monitor UPS (battery back up for the server) Redundancy (second hard drive) Training May be included but I doubt it. My guess for a 4 hour session - $1000. Growth Most software companies pre-load all of the applications on the server. They restrict access to the application by what's called , Key Codes. Example - Customer buys Dr. Bean for 20 agents. Their Call Centre grows to 30 agents. They contact SYD and ask for an additional 10 agents. SYD either dials into the system and releases 10 more agents in software or gives the key code to the customer and they do it. Very simple process and your not downloading additional software everytime a customers CC expands. My best guess on the cost of additional agents would be around the $500. mark. There may be options associated with the cost per agent, such as , transaction history, credit history, buying trends, voice and video applications, who knows what SYD, IBM, SUN, SAIC etc, have developed. It may well be $1500. an agent. Call Centre's IMO, a large Call Centre would have roughly 200 agents. So take which ever number pleases you, most I'm sure will pick $1500 x 200 = $300,000. Keep in mind though, new product, new company, volume discounts etc, probably closer to $200,000. Summary The real money in Call Centre development is made in the small to medium size accounts. 40 to 150 agent Call Centres. Faster turn around and alot less headaches. This market segment is huge and the move to e-commerce and the net, in dollar terms, is staggering. Were associated with the best , in on the ground floor of a new market, worth billions of dollars ! What more could we ask for !!! .67 cents a share .... not for long, my friends. (IMO) Craig
