REL/Takeover - I agree with Serge many posts ago stock should have been halted when company was looking for buyer. Stock was then about $5. The canadain oil/gas firms big enough to top Dominion got to be heard from otherwise canadains may leave the oil sector in droves driving down share prices sharply. We may have seen signs of that today at work. Looked at Encal and Genesis news releases today. Some numbers to ponder on. Dominion / Rel $ 4.30 prov + 50% prob. $ 5.45 prov. Encal 1998 finding and development cost of proved res. $ 7.13 prov + prob $ 6.71 Genesis 1998 finding and development cost of proved res. $ 6.34 prov + prob $ 6.18 Why would anyone want to drill ??? Just a thought why REL went with a cash offer is maybe others were looking at shares swap only. I would just like to thank the banks who love giving out money when times are good but close the door on a buisness when the times are bad. The banks plus the so called experts have to take alot of heat. JOMO
