Do you trade or do you buy and hold ? Options or shares ? Amount of time you have - everything makes a difference...

When I said one can triple, it was assuming the person would be daytrading options.........

Actually there are some good options traders here but even shares can be very rewarding - I know someone on SI who trades shares and made 15 times his capital in 98 !

Keep a lookout for the real successful ones. They never tell. You can tell a novice like me by my willingness to share this info....LOL

CMGI LONGS MUST READ THIS
by: PASADENA98 22212 of 22441BY HBUGAY:

In the last couple of weeks, the news flowing from moves that CMGI has made have been nothing less than spectacular. Never underestimate the power of one man or his ability to make the difference. CMGI is just that--they sell vision. Vision that flows from men. We have added an executive from Fortune Magazine, a President from NBC and one of the Key men from AOL. There is a grand scheme unfolding before our very eyes. These aren't random selections. Our CEO does not strike me as a man that shoots from the hip. We keeping limiting his vision by stating, "the stock will be 140 by earnings", "200 by the end of the year", "another split is coming". I say that all of you have a more limited vision than the corporate executives of CMGI.

There is something, upon a very grand scale, other than internet babies, that is afoot. Our CEO is has aligned himself with an all star team for something bigger than spinning out internet babies.

I can't see the vision but I know it's there--something akin to faith. Our expectations our a limiting force upon this company. CMGI will eclipse whatever "you" envision because this isn't our vision, it's David & company. It was so aptly put by one of our colleagues, a few days ago, that this is only the second inning of nine. I agree. You all know my feeling. This is the stock for the future. It is the Csco, before they knew the ride, Dell before the vision unfolded, MSFT before its dominance and Berkshire-Hathaway when the school teachers were purchasing for a few bucks a share. CMGI at this level is insignificant. Look at where the company has walked from since that first sell to AOL until today. Who here had that vision? Who showed the strength to hang on and have the faith to stand with Wetherall and his team.

In bibilcal terms they use the phrase, "at hand". It means virtually upon us. The future of CMGI is at hand. Don't get greedy and don't be frightened by success because it will eclipse your vision with this company. I'm suggesting simple faith in their and not your vision of this company.

What I am suggesting is that our friend, a few post back, that said he is betting the ranch, car, house and his Wife---and bought 10 shares has the vision. That's it. Five to seven years from now, I promise you, that you will be saying to yourself that I NEVER DREAMED IT WOULD BE THIS BIG!!!!!!!!

Just remember that the price of the stock, today or tomorrow, if the whole economy goes south for awhile does not affect their vision at CMGI. I believe their course is plotted. Be smart and walk the road with them. It shall be beyond your wildest dreams for this investment. That handwriting, my friends, is upon the wall and is "at hand".
