klinetime,

I totally understand how you feel about the small cap stocks that you own like EGGS getting pounded. I have been through it so many times now that it is sickening! You are absolutely correct in that way too much attention is placed on the Dow stocks. Are they overvalued? Probably. Does that mean that this market is overvalued? Absolutely not! CNBC makes their money by sensationalizing the market. They wouldn't get the prime billing that they do if they simply read the market reports. Take their information and glean out the important information and ignore the rest.

I have watched my small cap stocks get the crap beat out of them time and time again. But I continue to buy them if their fundamentals haven't changed but have been continuously overlooked (XYLN) and then finally discovered.

If you have the patience and the resources use this time of volatility to add some more to your holdings if you feel the core essence of the company is still intact. I watched Cendant (CD) get the crap beat out of it for it's ill-managed merger with the corrupt CUC. This stock got slapped from $40 to $6.50 a share. It deserved to get kicked but that was a little severe. I am averaged in now with CD at about $12 a share and if this foolishness in Wall Street continues I will look to add some more because fundamentally this company is solid.

Good Luck,

Steve
