Why does the number 80's keep coming to mind

Pls.....see if David will tell us is it...72 or 75...I also want to know what will happen if we hit 1 of those numbers.......John...will dell ever go back up<gg>

FWIW, I've been long Dell plenty of times. It just so happens that now I'm short because I think it's going down. BTW, what is Dell's P/E?

You may have seen some of my previous posts over the last month.
I've been fairly consistent in my thinking. Dell's price and those of AMZN, YHOO, et al. cannot be explained by facts. They're explained by only one thing. That is the prevalence of daytrading and momentum investing stoked by easy money from the Federal Reserve.

Dell's price may not necessarily collapse. I just think that 5 years from now, you'll be able to buy it at the same price you're paying today.
