I just started an SI eDrugstore thread to include all three:

Drugstore.com
PlanetRx
and Soma

techstocks.com

My understanding is that the profits are made on the nonprescription items. Merck-Medco and others have to decide if they want to get into the business of having 30,000 SKU's, megaservice centers, logistics experts (like PlanetRx) has, website design experts like Peter Neupert etc.

It is no small task. Moreover, deals are being done between the mailorder PBM's and the eDrugstores. Do we expect Merck-Medco to do deals with PCS and ExpressScripts?

RE: And if they make a cooperative agreement with amzn, why would they give them any excess profits beyond
some fee for service.

Fee for service? Sounds good to me.

If there is such a deal. It will be in the mutual self interest of both Amzn and Merck-Medco.

You can trust me on that.
