The reason why is because nobody really cares about sex, particularly consensual sex. Oh sure, he shouldn't be committing adultery, but ppl don't want to run him out of office for that only. So the goal of the entire Clintonista apparatus is to keep ppl distracted by only focusing on sex--they know that alone won't hurt him politically. Why the media is more fixated on sex than campaign contribution fraud, treason, theft of an S&L, and murder beats the hell out of me.
