Fingerhut <FHT.N> takes stake in Internet company

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Direct marketer and online retailer Fingerhut Companies Inc. said Wednesday it has acquired a 19.9 percent stake in Hand Technologies Inc., an Austin, Texas-based computer and Internet services company. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Fingerhut said the companies plan to develop a business selling computer systems and services to the mass market.

Hand Technologies was established in 1996 by founders Andrew Harris, chief executive officer, and Martin Slagter, president, both former senior executives of Dell Computer Corp. <DELL.O>.

Catcher, I've changed strategy. Been doing a lot of daytrading this week. Looking to make back my 100K slowly. Stocks I'm flip-flopping are GTW, DELL, NSCP, YHOO, XCIT, and a couple of Canadian stocks.

MSFT scares me. They are stumbling in SUIT. There is a remote chance that they might lose case. If that happens, MSFT will drop , and NSCP will gain.
