BearDown, those are interesting records for wireless-usa.

It seems reasonable that they are the same company if they are listed with a San Diego address. But it's not 100% certain, is it?

They do have addresses that are different from the one I found listed in a web-based phone book:

WIRELESS USA
5430 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard
San Diego, CA 92117
(Cellular & Mobile Telephone Equipment & Supplies)

619 514 8200

BTW, I wonder whether the reason their web page went down is that they didn't pay their ISP's bill? I checked, and their ISP doesn't charge very much for hosting a site per month, so that would only happen if they were really down to the last few dollars. Maybe I'm too skeptical.

They are, at least, still paying their phone bill, apparently. I called the number above, and I heard their message telling me to call back during regular business hours.

It also told me 'do not leave a message after the beep, as we do not have an answering service.' This experience seemed a little peculiar for phoning up a telephone company, I thought.

I wish I had printed the names of the company officers when I saw them a couple of days ago. They appeared all to be from a middle eastern country, but otherwise I don't remember them.

Beardown, How'd you get this information? Is it available on line? SD is my home. I'll checkout the address this weekend and let you'all know what their store front looks like...until then, let the shorts begin! :)

wireless usa web site is still down, but they still answer their phone. I asked what kind of services they offer, and the lady said paging and prepaid phone cards.
