EXACTOMUNDO

P.S. I wish I knew how to hot link - Great article on Intel pushing out 820 mghz Pentium III, Mfrs of Direct Rambus Dram having yield problems(featured on www.semibiznews.com site).Complaints about expensive test equip.(read Cohu pick and place testhandlers).Original intro date was june now pushed to sept. to increase yield of mfrg process.Pushout was expected however advantage expected to be gained by first Rambus Direct DRAM mfrg is now being minimized because the herd will be producing at the same time the leader will be producing - read many people coming on stream during 2nd and 3rd QTR.If testers show poor yield then it is deduced that test handlers are in place and Qtr II and III will be good for Cohu.I expect better than expected earnings.

Poor yield is an indication of mfrg process as determined by testhandlers.Poor yield requires testhandlers already in place to determine yield. This proves business will pickup .IMHO

EACarl,

agree with you. i nibbled some shares at 27 and 26 today, wished my limit orders were set lower but i didnt expect such a "big" dip today. if we drop to 20 i will back up the truck and buy with both hands. technically, we may get on more dip during March, COHU usually has one in Late Feb/March almost every year.

AMAT and KLAC has great momentum though, wished i didnt sell mine so early. looking to get back in, but their PEs are approaching those of the INNTERNUTS. wondering if analysts are working up those stocks so that those hi fliers can offer a secondary offerings for the analysts' firms. look what happened to VECO and NVLS.

Luck to all
