>>>I don't know about that, but this correction/bear, even if it gets to Dow 6800, will be just a blip in an ongoing superbull.

Take a look at what happened in '58 onwards.<<<<

Vitas you did good, but you gotta get off this 1957 kick.

In 1957 we had:
A: 1 wage earning family.
B: Great savings rate.
C: Few overtime hours worked.
D: low consumer/corporate debt.
E: Deeply conservative atmosphere due to
the recent memories of the Great Depression
and WWII.

In 1999 we have:
A: 2 wage earner families.
B: worst savings rate since 1933
C: Record overtime hours worked.
D: Record consumer/corporate/govt. debt.
E: J6P playing options on Yhoo, charged on VISA
The "Goldilocks" theme buy & hold market only goes up.
Al the Tow Truck driver, who owns an island thru
online "investing' -g-
Largest rage in tatoos/body piercing since the 20's
Now that Rodman's in LA, I expect the bull market to peak in that -g-

In 1957 you didn't have brokers advertising on TV constantly.

This is not 1957.

I don't know about that, but this correction/bear, even if it gets to Dow 6800, will be just a blip in an ongoing superbull.

Vitas, I really wish you would quit that. <g> One minute I think you are looking for the Tripple Slam Bam Slamation Summation and the next minute you are talking about how the bull market will never end.
Are you doing that just to confuse ME or is it just an accident. I love conspiracy theories. :-)

Or are you saying that one should go long now if he expects to live a couple of more years as it won't make a lot of difference anyway? And all this time I have been worried about losing money in the market for nothing. <g>
