Dear Jock, as you choose to continue your diatribe on the open thread, I have no choice except to honor my word and post the Private Message I sent you earlier. I am disturbed that I have to take this step, but it is your choice: Thread, the following is a copy of the Private Message I sent to Jock Hutchinson early this evening. Let your conscience be your guide: Dear Jock, I am extremely upset about the threatening posts you have been making on the dell thread. I have had some civil exchanges with you, despite our differing investment strategies, just as I have had with Michael Burke, Voltaire, and many others. I try to seek the kernal of knowledge in every intelligent poster's position, and use it to grow my personal wealth. IMO, the approach you are using on the dell thread threatens to disrupt the free flow of information about my largest investment, not to mention the sense of community that we all enjoyed before your arrival. Sadly, this is not the first time I've seen you use these tactics. You personally disrupted a fine lsi thread, and turned what had been well intentioned exchanges of information and beliefs into a flame war. Dell threadmates tell me you have done the same on the cpq thread. Jock, I will not tolerate this, particularly since I resent you are abusing your position as a court officer in an attempt to intimidate those who disagree with you. <Paragraph deleted, as it involves confidential exchanges with SI members not involved in this issue> If you continue to make vindictive and threatening posts on the dell thread, or any other thread that I regularly visit, I will have no recourse other than to make this post public, and encourage investors who share my opinion to state their views to SI. You've chosen to use the name of an athlete who was distinguished by his good nature and dignity rather than his ball striking. I hope you will re-evaluate your position and not further besmirch his good name. Uncle Frank Sorry I had to post this, Jock, but it was your call.
