ZH... Good point... GaAs sales, as a percentage of the total, are chasing a very-fast-moving target. GaAs sales have grown very nicely, as witness VTSS' 40+% growth rate (with similar projected for the next five years)..but in total they don't account for much in overall chip sales. And your point on the premium is well taken also....as a matter of fact, I exited a long held position at 51 1/2 recently, though there have been opportunities to buy back in under 42. As with CYMI (which sports an even greater premium), my intention is to buy more on any weakness.
If I understood your original point correctly, the alleged limitations of silicon always seem to move further out on the horizon whenever someone says that silicon's day is past. And I concur. But I would urge folks not to ignore the potential of a VTSS which can do quite well in the specialized niche that GaAs offers...
Just mho, of course.

Zeev,

Seems like we are doomed to hit the 50 day MA again....I thought we were on the verge of a breakout, the chart has turned bearish, even though the volume on down days has been very light. I am starting to feel like this will be deja vu all over again.

Still holding, trying to remain as bullish as possible.

Regards,

Rob
