Yep. The cool thing is that other companies are also designing their own Merced chipsets as well. I hear that Siemens in Germany is designing a 460GX-derivative chipset which will feature up to 64 MB of motherboard SRAM cache, which will serve as yet another layer of cache on top of Merced's own L0, L1, and L2 caches. Good night!

By the way, Monica, I see from your profile that you're currently a grad student at my alma mater, Cornell. How's the snow up there? God is currently using the Pacific Northwest here as a funnel for rain, and I kind of miss the beautiful campus which stands "far above Cayuga's waters."
