There is a great deal about bunnies not said in Watership Down, a true monument to British sexism. If you actually read the rabbit-book which the author cites so often, you find that in an actual rabbit colony, the female bunnies play a dominant social role; the males do little more than eat and fuck. Reread Watership Down, and see what place the author assigns to the females.

Bunnies scream when injured; if shot properly in the head they don't have a chance. I have also raised domestic bunnies; I would place their intelligence several steps below that of a lettuce. Too stupid to scream.

The Asia Forum thread has always had the best debates on SI, IMO. We've been quiet for a while, but there has been an excellent one over the last few days. All kicks off with an article from The Economist, cited in:

Continues for 60-odd posts. A lot of reading, but worth it for anyone interested in seeing how, in a perfect SI, all discussions would be conducted.
