Comments on the Conf. call ---------

Had not known that J.F. was gone however I'm not surprised. Perhaps J,T, and J.F. left due to pressures from significant shareholders or others. I have seen people pushed out before. This is perhaps for the better. J.T. had the vision to create the ABT entity but not the where-with-all to run it.

I was impressed by the three speakers. The focus on consolidation, capital formation and a quick return to profitability is the right path in my opinion.

I sensed that there was interest in ABT and probably the offer was low ball. As said at the conf. call, once wthey get their house in order and can be better measured those who had or have an interest will naturally re-examine ABT. Right now they have to put up and show that they are meeting their committments. They need to show progress. They need to be completely honest and forthcoming. A significant amount of work is on their plate that they wish to accomplish by July1 of 99'. If they prevail these $5. days will be a distant bad dream.

I believe it indeed safe to buy here at just under $5. I have done so twice. I think the downside risk is minimal despite the Evans Bloomberg influence.

P.S. - Was surprised to see a Merrill Lynch interest in ABT.

Anaxagrass unbeknownst to you I have done fairly well with some pitfalls along the way.

Your Mr. Evans was as I say he was - After all I did see him.

Is he truly a Socialist? Does he spike trees? I could swear he was selling beads on Telegraph Avenue.

He certainly is not a reporter, reporters do not have agendas.

Come clean and tell me! Your all buddies.

and I am buying!
