Good morning, Bob. I know what you mean about early rising pets. Mine does not really require my presence to go down stairs for a snack, drink of water, or trip to the litter box but he won't go anywhere without me. It's the, "Mommy, I have to go to the bathroom" at 3 a.m. that really gets me. Tomorrow [hopefully--we're having a blizzard outside] I'm going to buy another litter box for upstairs and see if that works. Lynn
