uncle: you are definitely a loved member of the family...so as a caring nephew, PLEASE do not invest 80% of your holdings in one company...it will ruin your stomach before it may ruin your portfolio.

My RMBS position right now is a healthy one but it is only 3% of my securities holdings so if there are hiccups I won't get an ulcer.

(By the way, RMBS is my largest single semi position which as the story unfolds i will increase...I did this with MSFT in the early years and even tho my basis on last purchases were 4x the original IPO purchases the basis is still under $2!!!....the point is there will be time to average up if indeed we have here what we think we have...no need to hit a home run in the first inning....)

I agree, even though Rambus is clearly a winner long term the overall market and post IDF symdrom will possibly cause Rmbs to go down and retest its recent low or at least 71 area.(not TA just opinion_).
Could be an excellent time to buy some leaps.
I continue to hear about and read about issues, big issues remaining with rambus. I hope they can get these fixed in time or it could get ugly, might wait til May, supposed to be an internal major milestone gate to make September happen.
I cannot even think about notebooks using Rambus until they get the desktop issues worked out, the heat issues are not trival.
enjoy your posts.
