Merrill Lynch cautious on Pc stocks, especially dell. Still thinks dell is expensive. No ratings change, though. cnbc reporting this. I only caught a part of it.

Maria just announced that Merril issued cautionary comments and as she said it ask dropped 2 points now indicating a negative dell opening at 31 3/4. Amazing how these guys have such great hindsight.I wonder how many Merril clients got out yesterday afternoon before this convienint call?

A few months ago they told us the economy would be in the tank and the Dow at 7400 because of the Asian crisis. I mean we should have been buying, not selling. Now everything is too high. Except Dell. I may put in an order to buy some at a ridiculously low price, like 50 or 60.Then wait a few weeks, see if it will fill. Regards Sig
