Michael: Maria said that ML'sanalyst, who is listend to with respect, said that all PC vendors would have trouble with margins in the years ahead. DELL would be protected to some extent by its business model, but even DELL would have difficulty. ML maintained an accumulate" rating on DELL "for the long term". She was reading from a message just handed to her. If accurate this would seem to be more critical of the other PC vendors than of DELL.

Maria's opinion was that it would depress PC shares even though at that moment DELL was up in pre-market trade (but befopre the ML message hit).

Oh, now Byron Weenie is cutting his stock allocation because he thinks the market is 20% overvalued and he sees a possible "double top" formation. GET REAL! Double tops RARELY happen.
