I think the whole date rape thing has been blown out of proportion and verged on hysteria. Guys are afraid to date for fear of getting accused of rape over things that have traditionally been just the way guys come on to gals. Like political correctness; date rape is too close to the line most of the time. It does happen, but it is not typical. The best protection for women is to not invite a guy up to their bedroom for coffee. To me; that's sending the wrong signal. It is a two way street. Women need to have some old fashion values if they want to be pure.
