Welcome aboard Casey!

Evidently, the guys at MetaByte are in over-hype mode right now. This was posted on the Sharkey discussion board by a MetaByte engineer:

=====================
By the way, this technology is only a small part of what we are working on here at Metabyte. We are working our engineers overtime to get you guys the bomb in a graphics config.

Did you ever think that you would be able to play Quake2 on three monitors with every available slot filled with Wicked3D graphics cards? with eyeSCREAM? Thought not - I have... :) Anybody interested?? How many slots would you fill?? Would you use more than two?? Just curious. :)
========================

While multi-monitor support is more plausable than dual cards seamlessly outputting to the same screen, the operative phrase in the above post is "working on." That's step 1 in the long process of becoming a product.

I'm concluding that Metabyte must be trying to get some funding or get bought by someone.

Also, it's amazing that all this hype was initially TNT focused when the technology _appears_ to be card-independent (although I have a very hard time believing that).
