Actually, Jock, Michael Burke announced the reason for his departure on the open dell thread himself. I planted that paragraph in my PM to you, and left it out of my public post so you could reveal your true nature to the thread <VBG>. Now let me get this straight. You publicly posted a private message to me. In that public post you indicated that you were deleting a single paragraph because it contained confidential information, although in fact you made no mention to me in your private message that you wished to keep that paragraph confidential. Furthermore, you are now saying that this wasn't a confidential matter at all because it was public knowledge. And the fact that I disclosed the contents of this so-called confidential paragraph, which in fact was public knowledge reveals my character? Character is about facts. You have written that Michael Burke is no longer allowed to post to the dell thread. He informed me that SI admin made this demand due to the large number of complaints about his waste of bandwidth, along with, I presume, SI's assessment of his lack of contribution other than taunting. Now you write that Actually, Jock, Michael Burke announced the reason for his departure on the open dell thread himself. Therefore, I would like to see Mr. Burke's post wherein he announces to the DELL thread that he is leaving the DELL thread because the "SI admin made this demand due to the large number of complaints about [Burke's] waste of bandwidth, along with SI's assessment of [Burke's] lack of contribution other than taunting." Since by your own words, you have the utmost respect for Mr. Burke, I am sure that you be able to find this post for me, or you would clearly be an outright liar about the posts of a very respected and well read member of SI. So Frank, where is Mr. Burke's post? DELL is down today. The world's largest brokerage downgraded the stock. Another highly respected brokerage downgraded the stock. The glory days for DELL's fabulous stock price increase are over, and I have no sympathy for the greedy margin and option players who are now in potential trouble. As for the long-term investors who have profited tremendously and wish to continue to hold despite the less than rosy near-term outlook. I am assuming that the long-term future is good--even if this company's stock price doesn't move up a dime over the next two or three years.
