NEW YORK, Feb 25 (Reuters) - Morgan Stanley Dean Witter analyst Chuck Phillips raised his rating on software company Novell Inc. Thursday to outperform from neutral. -- In a report, Phillips also raised his earnings-per-share forecast to $0.48 from $0.42 for 1999 and to $0.75 from $0.58 for 2000. -- Shares in Novell were up 1-1/4 to 20-1/4. biz.yahoo.com
