I have been very busy working on the BrowseMaster product. I have just put a new version, 1.2.1, on the browsemaster.com web site. This version really helps improve 2 major things:
1.) Installation. The setup program has been greatly improved in many ways. First of all, the standard setup no longer puts the BrowseMaster application in the Windows startup folder. Instead, it creates a BrowseMaster group in the Start Menu, and there is a short-cut to the BrowseMaster application from there. There is also a shortcut to the BrowseMaster URL with a name of "BrowseMaster - 2nd step" to distinguish it from the standard application. The new setup program queries Windows for the names of standard directories. Also, with the advanced setup option, it is possible to add the BrowseMaster application to your startup folder, and to choose which directory to use as the BrowseMaster Program Files directory.

2.) The second major improvement has been for non-registered users. There were a number of minor issues that contributed to difficulties in using BrowseMaster for SI non-members. I believe that these have been cleaned up, and I hope that non-members will find BrowseMaster useful and enjoyable when reading SI.

Current users of BrowseMaster will be able to update through the BrowseMaster interface, but I need to make some changes to the update application to match the changes made to the setup application. I will post a message on this board when the automatic update facility is in place for current users wishing to upgrade to the newest version.
Regards,
Craig
