I am fairly sure that Canada Stockwatch is not going into the trading business.

Just posted to the CSW improvement thread. The more people that complain the faster small changes like this can be made.

There are presently three choices for the layout of the Live Ticker (linear, compressed and classic). As we both know, space on the computer screen is at a premium when trading. One of the biggest complaints I have heard from other CSW users, and one that I agree with, is that the layouts provided for the ticker do not compare to other service providers.

In the linear layout, if font size and column height was adjustable you could easily fit double (or triple) the number of stocks on the ticker in the same space. In addition, the column width could be adjusted to fit the information more efficiently. You could possibly give three font choices for the linear layout and the column size would adjust automatically.

In my opinion the compressed layout is not an efficient use of space since the ticker is displayed above the price with a large empty space after the symbol. In addition, with the compressed layout you lose the last trade and day high/low information.
