Further Thought

I read IBM's release a little more carefully
and they seem to be targeting ASICs (application
specific integrated circuits) which is generally
thought to be small runs of chips. But with this
kind of technology, I don't see why they wouldn't
expand to large runs. Perhaps the design of custom
chips is too expensive. Still worth watching, but
appears less of a direct threat on second reading.
