Looks like MER found another clueless analyst to bash our tech stocks. I guess he has not heard that Asia is on the mend.

What does he think makes this economy tick? Analysts or businesses, mainly techs, telecoms and pharmas?

I can't believe why those guys have followers.

Sonny-Yeah, Merrill and Byron Whiner took the wind out of the sails this AM. I see we are trending up now.

I too was surprised at the solid opening of bank stocks this morning. I thought they would be the major casualty from yesterday's bond action. I just posted ("ranted") to Tony V that the MMs are apparently no yet positioned for a move up although I believe there is sentiment and money to support one. Unfortunately, two of todays bargains are CPQ and INTC, and I really don't want to increase my exposure in either one. Still watching EMC, and would probably add AOL around 80. Should have bought more at 148 pre-split. Story of my life<gg>
