Thats what I thought. I just wondered whether your single account allowed you to do both smultaneously....sorta like ticking off buys against the sells...or no ticks at all...

But Happy, Write puts or calls are all un-related transactions??
For example, I can write INTC calls in one a/c regardless of holding INTC shares in that a/c.
