<<Attention Veteran Traders>>

Matthew,

Some stocks that have been in a predictable
trading range lately include CCL, CPQ and ORCL.
YUM was until its earnings and has been in an
uptrend since then. It should resume trading in a range
within a few days (probably between 55-62 or so).
Another one that is usually good for
at least a point or so each day is BBBY. It
often hits its daily low around noon and makes
a fast run up in the last hour (except yesterday
and so far, today).

Tom

MLJ,

I play the news or upgrades for a one day spike and try to get a minimum of $500 on a purchase of 1000 shares. I stay in stocks between $8-10 and $30 on the high side. Profits: Mon $512 Tu: $512 Wed: $450 Thur: $900. I target one or two plays for the day and concentrate like hell on eaking out that small profit.

I use MBTrader with an order screen for instant execution. I watch the screen for that spike that I hope will happen sometime during the day and take my profit. I leave money on the table sometime but not often in this kind of choppiness.

Good luck and I hope this helps,
Steve Davis

just a thought..
