I wonder if they might consider waiting for an up day on the markets to release the news. christopher, funny yet sad story you have there. The certs were being sold by a souvenir shop for $22.95. The scamsters bought them and created a fake story around them. Sold a ton to retirees. As my folks get older and start to lose mental powers I worry about scumbags like these guys. The saddest part is as you say, they will only get their wrists slapped. People that mess with the elderly or the young should get put away for a very long time.
