I finally got those prescription numbers from Monday: New 1,801(1,578) Refill 1,742(1,578) Total 3,543(3,543) Up 3.1% Still numbers are relatively flat but technically we are looking at the highest script count for any week in 1999(January usually a bad month on drugs). Not terribly shabby considering that for the past 7 weeks Vivus has absolutely no sales force detailing the product. MUSE is selling itself now domestically at about $4M in product sales per quarter. I am confident that with the right marketing partner we can easily get product sales back up to the $15 to $20M level/quarter and even higher if the Viagra safety profile continues to deteriorate and the new marketing partner really pushes the safety profile of MUSE.
