Linda, shorting a 'nut before it split? Be quick, be nimble, and make sure to have a nice stash of valium if you keep it overnight. <g>

I sure wouldn't take the risk though. While it's certainly overpriced, there's no reason why it can't become more so. I still recall doing several shorts of YHOO when it was 12-14 (adjusted). I made money, but in hindsight I was really lucky that 10/27/97 came along, that I had a limit buy to cover in, and that I couldn't get through to my broker to change it. There's too many little old lady's to mug for me to go after a gorilla like EBAY

Linda, I have to agree with the previous posts. Too many weak and wounded to agonize over one of Mary Meeker's prefereds... I'd rather stick to the easy stuff. The large cap internuts come roaring back in a heartbeat... not worth the sleepless nights for me .

I long the big caps and only short the micros... but that's just my preference

Linda, when it is cheaper,
post split, there may well
be more people buying.

Of course, while the rewards
could be significant, so too
are the risks. Surely, there
are safer shorts in this market.

Either way, luck, girl. :)

Regards,
Jeff
