I can't find the recent post (might have been on another thread), but someone mentioned setting up a layout with different charts and / or time frames (daily, weekly, etc.) and saving it as such (*.mwl). Then they changed the extension w/ Win Explorer to *.mwt so that it could be applied as a multi-framed template to any stock.

Don't make this the default template tho. Then the periods always seem to revert to previous (smart) chart display load settings. Secondary templates don't follow suit.

I haven't tested any of this yet, but the idea sounds like it might solve your problem if the individual chart period settings are retained. I assume the display will match printouts too. Let me know if it works.
