John, I think you are right on the money. The blowoff in Dell was when they traded 112 million shares in one day. It was the equivalent to a crash in one stock. Some would argue it will dip again to the mid 70's, but that will be short lived and probably only an intraday low. The weak hands left or were forced out.

I have been heavily in Intel for 5 years and watched this sort of behavior over and over. However, I had gotten in quite cheap through the warrants. My entry to Dell was this fall when it tanked down to the mid 40's, but I have been accumulating since then and now Dell is my second major position. The more bad news they try and drum up, the more I like it (for now). We are loading up the spring. The action will come relatively soon. As for Cramer and Merrill Lynch spitting in Michael's eye, don't sweat it. Cramer is talking it down so he can get it cheap. Merrill is pulling the same crap with Dell they did with Intel over and over. Ratchet it up and down so they can generate commissions. It's another form of churning. Merrill is an ace at it.

John, thanks for you detailed response to my posting. Re:<<if you believed all "sell" arguments that has been said the past two weeks...you would have sold too (and you did !)....>> Yes, I sold. However, in my posting I said that I sold before the earnings release. So, I got out at a price of 100+. Further, I said I followed my gut feeling to sell...how's that for a technical model? <ggg> Additionally, I didn't say Dell would drop into the 70's or 60's. I said I won't be surprised to see it drop that low.

Just wanted to clarify a few points.
