Or sell covered calls close in ... like maybe the April 7.5 or April 10 ... but cover your butt by buying calls at 12.5. That's my technique when I suspect/fear that a major "pop" just might occur to interrupt my well-laid plans. FWIW, last time I checked the April calls were tracking on an implied volatility in the 140% range, whilst those farther out were at a considerably lower implied volatility. One possible interpretation: option traders expect things to settle down for ABTX? Actual volatility over the past two months has been absolutely horrendous! JSb.
