Yousef, I admit, I pull for the underdog but the underdog has a tough row to hoe. OTOH, they got the K6-III released and can now tweak it. That was a big hurdle. But no where near the hurdle the K7 is. AMD knows it, so they have at least tried to lower everything to the lowest common denominator. ,25u first, off die L2 first, use existing EV6 bus, slot A, use existing 100MHz RAM etc.. Still its going to be hard. That said, look for the K7 in June...provided no unseen snags... <G> Jim
